Car Park Check

Britannia Parking parking charges

Britannia Parking Group runs camera and pay-and-display car parks for pub chains, retailers, councils and other landowners. At pub sites it typically asks customers to enter their registration at the bar or on a tablet, then uses ANPR to post charges to anyone who didn't. Appeals it rejects can go to POPLA.

How to appeal a Britannia Parking charge

  1. Appeal to Britannia Parking within 28 days of the notice. Paying within 14 days usually gets a discount, so decide early.
  2. If it rejects your appeal, it must give you a verification code for POPLA, because Britannia Parking is a member of the BPA.
  3. Appeal to POPLA. It's free for drivers. See our POPLA guide.
