Car Park Check

Hozah parking charges

Hozah runs pay-on-exit car parks for councils, universities, shopping centres and leisure sites. There are no barriers: cameras record when a car arrives and leaves. Drivers either register for AutoPay or pay online after they leave, and any unpaid stay leads to a parking charge. You appeal to the operator first and then to POPLA.

How to appeal a Hozah charge

  1. Appeal to Hozah within 28 days of the notice. Paying within 14 days usually gets a discount, so decide early.
  2. If it rejects your appeal, it must give you a verification code for POPLA, because Hozah is a member of the BPA.
  3. Appeal to POPLA. It's free for drivers. See our POPLA guide.

We name operators factually and have no link to Hozah. Its own site is hozah.com.
